Adi Nur Cahyono is an Associate Professor in Mathematics Educational Media. He is a civil servant lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia, since 2008. He is also an Expert Staff of the Rector of UNNES for Academic Affairs in 2019-2021 and Head of the Sub-Directorate of Reputation and Partnership of UNNES since 2023. In 2017, he received his doctoral degree (Dr.rer.nat.) from J.W.v. Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in the speciality of Didactics of Mathematics for his work on the MathCityMap Indonesia. He teaches and supervises undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in mathematics education media, geometry, and teaching & learning mathematical modelling. He is the founder of the Math Trails Media Research Group, where he and his team conduct research and work with a focus on math trails, mathematical modelling, and mathematics education with digital technologies in collaboration with teachers and researchers from other institutions in Indonesia and abroad. He is a nominee for the 2023 National Academic Leader Awards in Education. In 2021 and 2023, he became a Visiting Professor at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz Austria.

Adi Nur Cahyono adalah Associate Professor pada bidang Media Pendidikan Matematika. Dia adalah Dosen PNS di Fakultas Matematika dan IPA (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia sejak 2008. Dia juga menjabat sebagai Staf Ahli Rektor UNNES Bidang Akademik 2019-2021 dan Kepala Sub-Direktorat Reputasi dan Kerjasama UNNES sejak 2023. Pada tahun 2017, ia menerima gelar doktor (Dr.rer.nat.) dari J.W.v. Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Jerman, dengan spesialisasi Didaktik Matematika dengan disertasinya tentang MathCityMap Indonesia. Ia mengajar dan membimbing mahasiswa sarjana, magister, dan doktoral dalam bidang media pendidikan matematika, geometri, dan pembelajaran pemodelan matematika. Dia adalah pendiri Math Trails Media Research Group, dimana ia dan timnya melakukan penelitian dan bekerja dengan fokus pada Math Trails, Pemodelan Matematika, dan Pendidikan Matematika dengan Teknologi Digital, bekerja sama dengan pendidik dan peneliti dari institusi lain baik di dalam negeri maupun di luar negeri. Dia adalah nominator Academic Leader Award tingkat Nasional dalam Bidang Kependidikan tahun 2023. Pada tahun 2021 dan 2023, ia menjadi Visiting Professor di Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz Austria.
